Executive Target

Popular Republican President James Whitcomb is in his third year in the White House. He begins his reelection campaign by making appearances across the country to spread the good news about his administration. But unknown to Whitcomb, a major media mogul is plotting to take over the White House. And a domestic terrorist group is planning to attack the president. The action in this political satire culminates in Phoenix, AZ. Will the administration be taken down? Will Whitcomb survive the forces arrayed against him? You’ll have to read EXECUTIVE TARGET to find out…

“American journalism (like the journalism of any other country) is predominantly paltry and worthless. Its pretensions are enormous, but its achievements are insignificant.” ― H. L. Mencken

"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you're mis-informed."

About Me

Pete Byer

Attorney, Author and Freelance Writer

After over 30 years practicing law, I am trying out something new. Well, not exactly. I’ve been writing EXECUTIVE TARGET for years on the weekends, at night, etc. I was a prosecutor, securities industry in-house attorney and in private practice in New York and New Jersey. And I am desperately, desperately, trying to retire from it all.

So, wish me well…
